Enrolment & Trial Lesson

New students are welcome to join year-round, depending on availability.

No registration fee is required.

We offer a free 15–20 minute trial lesson/consultation for all new students.
Lesson Options
Lessons are held weekly and offered in the following durations:

30 minutes
-
45 minutes
-
60 minutes
-
90 minutes
Students are expected to arrive on time and come prepared with all necessary materials.
Tuition & Payment

Regular weekly lessons are billed monthly, based on the number of lessons scheduled that month.

Tuition is due by the first lesson of each month to secure your ongoing time slot in the studio schedule.

Please consult your calendar for the number of lesson days each month before submitting payment.
For students who require more flexibility, we offer a Casual Lesson Option:

Book one or more lessons without a monthly commitment.
-
Payment is made on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Rates for in-studio/online lessons are as follow:

Cancellation/Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. If you need to make changes due to special or emergency circumstances, please speak directly with your teacher.

No Call/No Show absences—where no notice is provided—will not be rescheduled or refunded, and the payment for the missed lesson cannot be applied to future lessons.

Wind Instrument Students: Forgetting your instrument is not considered a valid reason to miss a lesson. In such cases, students are expected to use a studio instrument with sanitized mouthpieces. Clarinet and saxophone students must bring spare reeds or may borrow/purchase one from their teacher.

While we do our best to be flexible with rescheduling, abuse of this flexibility may result in termination of the student-teacher relationship.

If a lesson is canceled by the teacher, it will either be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time or credited toward the following month’s tuition.
Lessons termination
To end your studies at the studio, 30 days’ written notice (via text or email) is required. Without notice, one month’s tuition will remain due.
Teachers reserve the right to discontinue lessons if any of the following occur:

Repeated absences

Disrespectful or disruptive behavior

Lack of preparation or motivation
-
Excessive or unreasonable demands from parents
Holidays and Closures
The studio is closed on the following major Canadian holidays:

New Year’s Day

Good Friday & Easter Monday

Canada Day
-
Labour Day
-
Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day & Boxing Day
Summer lessons
Summer lessons are available with a more relaxed and flexible schedule. You may choose:

Pay-as-you-go lessons with no ongoing commitment,
-
or Special 4- to 8-week packages offered at a discounted rate.
Media Release
To help promote the studio, we may occasionally take photos or videos of students during lessons or studio events.

By signing up for lessons, you automatically consent to the use of such media for promotional purposes.
Recitals
Our annual studio recital gives students a valuable opportunity to perform and allows families to celebrate their progress and achievements.

An admission fee applies to cover expenses such as venue rental and piano tuning.
