What Our Students And Parents Are Saying
I have known Lilli (Lilit Papoyan)for the past 8 years as she has been the piano teacher for my older son and then my younger son.
She is exceptionally talented as a pianist, but more importantly is able to connect and work with children very effectively. Both of my sons have very different learning styles and she was able to Reach each of them and take them to their highest potential in music.
They have achieved very high marks on RCM exam grade one to eight in the 90 to 98% range under her guidance.
They have enjoyed the many recitals and music competitions and learned the value of dedication and perseverance.
I recommend Lilli highly as she is a genuine warm and compassionate human being Who will instill the love for music in your children that will last a lifetime.
My older son is now pursuing academics solely, but still plays piano at night for stress, relief, and composes his own music which is a testament to his piano teacher!!

Suren is a dedicated and passionate teacher who takes teaching and his students seriously. He was often more stressed than I am if there was no obvious progress after each class. He is very creative in tailoring teaching method to the style of his student. He is strict but also encouraging. My child studied with Suren for the past year and successfully passed RCM Level 10 flute exam this summer with excellent marks, skipping a level as well. Lilit is also great. She spent a lot of time to help my child prepare for the exam.

Suren taught me clarinet for 6 years. In that time I was able to go from someone who had basically no idea how to play to having multiple achievements, like winning First Place for the OMFA competition, a mark of 95 on my RCM Level 8 exams, and joining TYWO as a first clarinetist. He really helped me discover a passion. Throughout my journey I have always felt his dedication towards his students, and his teaching methods were professional yet engaging and effective even through difficult periods as a beginner or during COVID. Of course I have to thank Lilit as well for always being great to work with for accompanying during competitions and recitals. I highly recommend Keys & Pipes if you wish to learn from the best when learning woodwind instruments or piano.

My son, Henry, has been taking Alto saxophone lessons at Keys and Pipes with Suren, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Suren is an excellent instructor who truly understands the needs and pace of younger students. He goes at a good speed that keeps Henry engaged and motivated, yet ensures he's learning and progressing. Suren is very patient, receptive, and adjusts his teaching methods to match Henry's interests and abilities. It's clear that he cares about his students' success and enjoyment. I highly recommend Suren and Keys and Pipes for anyone looking to start their musical journey.
